Women-only night bus services were launched in selected thoroughfares in South Korea.
This aims to ensure the safety and protection of women when commuting at night particularly for employees working on the night shift.
CCTV cameras and an emergency panic button are installed in the bus, serving as an additional layer of protection and security for commuters.
This initiative serves as a government response to address the security concerns of women commuters and make public transportation more accessible at night.
