Healthcare is most impactful when it reaches people not only in moments of illness, but also in the everyday decisions that shape their well-being. Recognizing the vital role of verified and trustworthy health information in today's information landscape, Grace Medical Center and BMPI-UNTV formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement to advance health literacy, community wellness, and informed public engagement.
The partnership reflects a shared belief that empowering communities with reliable health information can help foster healthier lifestyles, encourage preventive care, and strengthen public understanding of important health issues. By bringing together medical expertise and public service media, both institutions seek to make healthcare knowledge more accessible to Filipino families.
Representing Grace Medical Center at the signing were Edison Lope L. Tan, MD, President and Medical Director; Ms. Ma. Virginia A. Nellas, Chief Finance Officer; and Ms. Joan Lasam, Business Development Manager. BMPI-UNTV was represented by Public Service Department Director Ms. Lanilyn Joy Apinado.
Located in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, Grace Medical Center was founded with a mission to provide quality healthcare services guided by its philosophy, “Caring comes from the heart.” Since opening its doors in 2012, the hospital has grown into a trusted healthcare institution serving Bulacan and nearby communities. Today, it offers a broad range of medical services, including emergency medicine, cardiology, neurology, pulmonary medicine, rehabilitation, diagnostic and laboratory services, hemodialysis, surgical services, and specialized outpatient care. The hospital also continues to expand its capabilities, with a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) set to open soon, further enhancing access to advanced cardiovascular services for patients in Bulacan and neighboring areas.
Grace Medical Center is also part of the Mount Grace Hospitals network, a healthcare group dedicated to advancing quality, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare across the country. The hospital's commitment to compassionate care, continuous improvement, and holistic healing has earned the trust of patients and healthcare professionals alike.
Through this partnership, BMPI-UNTV and Grace Medical Center aim to extend the impact of healthcare beyond hospital walls by encouraging informed health decisions, promoting wellness, and helping build healthier and more resilient communities. At its heart, the collaboration is grounded in a simple but powerful principle: quality healthcare begins with informed and empowered people.
