Idinaing ng isang grupo ng mga tsuper ng pampasaherong jeepney ang muling pagtaas sa presyo ng produktong petrolyo.

Kasabay ito ng pagpapatupad ng mahigit P2 dagdag-singil sa kada litro ng diesel at gasolina simula ngayong araw, May 5.

Nagpakilos na ng karagdagang unit ang Philippine National Police para patatagin ang seguridad sa paligid ng Bulkang Mayon.  

Sa gitna ito ng planong pagpapalawig ng permanent danger zone sa paligid ng Bulkan.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announces an updated monthly wage increase for domestic workers, or kasangbahays, effective May 20, 2026.

With a new wage rate, there would be a ₱500-₱1000 increase for workers in the region.

Under Wage Order No. RIX-DW-06, the new monthly wage rate will be ₱6,000 for chartered cities and first-class municipalities in Sulu Province, while ₱5,000 for other municipalities.
