Senator Robin Padilla confirmed that he will no longer seek a political position after his term.

In his Facebook post, he stated that he will no longer run for Vice President in the 2028 national elections because his children are still young and he simply wants to live a quiet Islamic life.

Nevertheless, Padilla listed his preferred vice presidential bets, once VP Sara Duterte may run for President in 2028: Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Bong Go, Sen. Ronald dela Rosa, Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, and former Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo.
