Emerging from the world-famous surf breaks of Siargao, the Filipino standout proved his mettle against Asia’s elite as he powered through every swell with absolute precision. 

His decisive run capped off an incredible showcase on the international circuit, cementing his reputation as one of the region’s rising longboard powerhouses.

The podium push culminated in a nail-biting, all-Filipino showdown against teammate Toby Espejon. 

Riding back-to-back sets under intense time pressure, Alciso outmaneuvered Espejon in a tactical duel to seal the third-place finish with a tight 10-9 victory. 

The razor-thin margin highlighted both surfers' high-caliber craftsmanship while guaranteeing that the country’s flag flew high on the podium.
