Gilas Pilipinas Women’s 3x3 Basketball Team delivered a statement performance at the 20th Asian Games, capturing a hard-fought silver medal after pushing through a grueling tournament run. 

The quartet of Kacey Dela Rosa, Kennan Ka, Ammyah Espanol, and Maria Pasilang showcased world-class composure and grit, proving that Philippine women's basketball continues to rise rapidly on the continental stage.

The Filipina hoopers fought gallantly in the gold medal match against a powerhouse Japan squad, unleashing aggressive defense and quick-hitting plays from the opening whistle. 

Despite an intense, all-out effort from the national side, Japan managed to break away late to seal the contest, 21-11. 

Nevertheless, the podium finish stands as a monumental milestone for the program and a testament to the team's unwavering heart.
