The 10.6°C temperature in Baguio City listed as one of the lowest temperatures in the city throughout history, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The lowest temperature recorded in the City of Pines was 6.3°C in 1961.

Hence, the recent weather condition causes frost in crops and even in vehicles.

In a video shared by PJ Haight, some vehicles in Atok, Benguet are also covered by the ice.

The frost occurs when the temperature in high-elevation areas falls below 10°C.

The cold weather paves a way for Sakura Tree or Cherry Blossoms to bloom.
