The water level of Angat Dam is nearing the lowest level recorded in its history.
According to data from PAGASA, the dam's water level was at 157.64 meters as of 8 AM today, July 7.
The lowest level recorded in the dam's history was 157.54 meters, logged on July 14, 2010.
(According to PAGASA, it will be difficult to raise the water level in the dam for now even with rainfall.)
The agency earlier said that two to three storms are needed before the water in the dam returns to its normal level.
Angat Dam is the main source of water supply for areas in Metro Manila.
