Water levels at Angat Dam rose by over one meter following the recent heavy rains.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the water level increased from 183.73 meters on August 17 to 184.86 meters today (August 18)
The dam’s water supply is now back at its minimum operating level. PAGASA attributed the rise to continuous rainfall brought by recent tropical cyclones and the prevailing southwest monsoon.
