House Majority Leader and Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos filed a motion in a plenary session to designate 12 house members as delegates for the upcoming bicam conference, in connection with the 2026 proposed national budget. This motion is already approved in the House.

On a Senate Session on Tuesday, Sen. Migiz Zubiri mentioned the withdrawal of Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, stating:

"He asked to be withdrawn as a member of the bicam." 

Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III mentioned earlier that the bicam conference will start on December 12, 2025.
