Hinimok ni Senator Joseph Victor ‘JV’ Ejercito si Senator Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa na pansamantalang huwag tumanggap ng sahod kaugnay ng ilang buwang hindi nito personal na pagdalo sa Senado.

Nilinaw naman ni Ejercito na hindi pa rito nagtatapos ang reklamo laban kay Dela Rosa.

May indikasyon umano na posibleng ilaglag ng mga kaalyado si dating House Speaker at Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez at idiin sa isyu ng umano’y anomalya sa flood control projects, kaya napilitan na itong magsalita.

Ayon sa isang political analyst, handa umano ang mambabatas na isiwalat ang kanyang nalalaman kaugnay ng naturang kontrobersiya.

Former Vice President and incumbent Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo has announced that she will not seek a seat in the 2028 national elections. 

In a radio interview, she confirmed that she is sure about her decision to decline to run in national polls and will focus on preparing to run for her second term as mayor.

Following the announcement, Senator Kiko Pangilinan stated in his Facebook post that he noted that Robredo can “build the broadest and strongest unity” not only within the Liberal Party and its allies but also among other groups intending to join the national elections.

“I believe that Leni is in the best position to build the broadest and strongest unity not just amongst the ranks of the Liberal Party and our allies but to include all other groups and personalities outside our allied forces who are also looking to participating in the 2028 Presidential elections,” he said

Ilang oras bago magtapos ang ceasefire sa pagitan ng Estados Unidos at Iran, nag-anunsyo si US President Donald Trump ng pagpapalawig nito.

Ayon kay Trump, tugon ito sa kahilingan ng Pakistan upang maipagpatuloy ang usapang pangkapayapaan ng dalawang panig.

Nagpahayag naman ng pagdududa ang Iran sa intensyon ng Estados Unidos sa naturang hakbang.
