Hinamon ng mga lider ng political parties sa Kamara si Zaldy Co na patunayan ang kanyang alegasyon laban kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at dating House Speaker at Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez.

Nagpahayag din sila ng suporta sa presidente sa gitna ng mga akusasyon na ibinabato ng dating kongresista.

Ayon sa isang political analyst, hindi pa maituturing na damaging o may mabigat na halaga ang mga alegasyon ni dating House Appropriations Committee Chair Zaldy Co laban sa ilang mataas na opisyal ng pamahalaan.

Gayunman, aminado ang analyst na may negatibong epekto pa rin ang mga akusasyon, lalo na sa reputasyon ng mga pinangalanan sa umano’y isyu ng korapsyon.

Naging maayos at mapayapa ang unang araw ng kilos protesta kahapon, ayon sa Philippine National Police, na walang naitalang anumang gulo at nagpapatuloy ang mahigpit na seguridad sa mga lugar ng pagtitipon.

Gayunman, nagbabala ang Department of the Interior and Local Government na iimbestigahan ang mga kalahok na nanawagan sa pagbaba sa pwesto ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
