Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon expressed frustration over potholes he observed on Buendia Southbound in Makati.

The affected road section is a part of the DSA rehabilitation project and has been newly asphalted. The section is reportedly the most depressed section in the area and deteriorated due to heavy rains since the weekend.

In response, Secretary Dizon directed to do the repair once the weather gets better.

“Kapag medyo gumanda na yung panahon, aayusin na ‘to nang permanente,” he said

[“Once the weather gets better, this will be permanently repaired.”]

He emphasized that the contractor will shoulder all expenses.

“(They’ll) fix it. No cost to government. The contractor has to fix that,” he added
