A private prosecutor expressed willingness to cooperate with all legal protocols and processes regarding the extradition of the KOJC Leader Apollo Quiboloy to the United States.

According to the legal counsel of alias ‘Amanda’, Atty. Joeie Domingo, they will not hinder any measures to be implemented by the government regarding this matter.

“We wanted to say na we are very much willing to cooperate with whatever it is that needs to be done for the processes to be undertaken kung anuman yung mga legal protocols na kailangan because as you understand there are requisites before a certain accused can be extradited, especially when that accused is undergoing a case in the Philippines in the jurisdiction,” she said

The prosecution also eyed the option of temporary surrender under Article 11 of the Philippine-US Extradition Treaty, where Quiboloy could be brought to the US for trial without dismissing his charges in the Philippines.

Atty. Domingo also stated that they do not want the accused to go scot-free or evade his accountability to victims in the country.

“So gusto natin, malinaw na pananagutan din niya kung anuman yung kanyang nagawang krimen dito sa Pilipinas, at the same time, pananagutan din niya yung sa ibang bansa. So, yung sinasabi ng batas natin, temporary surrender, hindi naman ibig sabihin non, wala na siyang pananagutan,” Atty. Domingo said

[“So what we want is the definite accountability: whatever crimes he committed in the Philippines, at the same time, he must also be accountable in what he committed in another country. So, what our law says is the temporary surrender, but it doesn’t mean that he will not be held accountable.”]

The religious leader is included in the wanted list of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the US.

Alias Amanda has finished delivering her testimony for the qualified trafficking case of the leader.
