The Philippine National Police (PNP) guarantees its readiness to provide security for Vice President Sara Duterte and her family, following her statement expressing concern over their safety.

PNP Chief PGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. emphasized that all operations are conducted fairly and with respect for individual rights.

In line with this, the relevant police units were directed to continue conducting a threat assessment regarding the Vice President and encouraged VP Duterte’s side to submit official documents or reports regarding the alleged threats.
