MANILA—The PhilHealth Health Insurers remain the undisputed power to beat in the UNTV Volleyball League Season 4 after a hard-fought four-set victory over the AFP Lady Gunnar yesterday at the Paco Arena. 

Displaying resilience and precise teamwork, the Health Insurers overcame a strong AFP challenge to win with final set scores of 25-22, 17-25, 25-19, and 25-14. 

This victory marks their incredible seventh consecutive win of the season, extending their remarkable undefeated streak.

AFP put up a fierce fight, pushing PhilHealth to their limits early in the match and capturing the second set in convincing fashion. 

However, the gritty Health Insurers dug deep in the crucial third set to regain momentum and control of the game. 

Led by their offensive power, PhilHealth executed critical plays when it mattered most, pulling away in the fourth set to secure the match.

Adding to the celebration, Rochelle Rica of the PhilHealth Health Insurers was named the undisputed Best Player of the Game, delivering an exceptional performance that truly dominated the court. 

She exploded with 17 points, showcasing her relentless attacking form with 16 massive attacks and adding a service ace to seal the deal. 

Following the grueling match, Rochelle credited their win to their coach’s advice to take the game one point at a time. 

“Sabi po ni Coach sa’min before the game, mag-focus po kami tapos one game at a time and one point at a time lang kami.” she shared during a post-game interview.
