Authorities have found the body of another victim from the SUV that plunged off Agana Bridge in Tarlac City when it collapsed on Saturday, August 29, during heavy monsoon rains.

According to Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap, the remains of Shanen Tuhao were found in Brgy. San Vicente, Bayambang, Pangasinan at around 4:00 PM on Tuesday.

Based on the report, a local resident discovered the floating body of a female victim.

Authorities also retrieved the remains of another victim, identified as James Patrick, who had drifted to Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

Search operations remain ongoing for the two remaining missing individuals.

The Tarlac Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) stated that search efforts have been intensified.

Meanwhile, the collapse of Agana and Aquino Bridge continues to disrupt residents and commuters. Due to the damage, workers and students are forced to use alternate routes, which will take longer travel times for them.

“Nag-identify po tayo ng mga alternate routes na kung saan dito yung pansamantalang dadaanan ng ating mga kababayan, lalo na yung mga estudyante at nagtatrabaho sa mga lugar na yan in and out po ng city. Ang problema nga lang po medyo mas mahaba po 'yung travel time natin ngayon dahil sa pag-ikot,” Tarlac PDRRMO Head Marvin Guiang confirmed

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is currently making repairs on Agana Bridge, while the construction of a temporary Bailey bridge is underway to restore access for motorists and commuters.
