National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag has denied the claims of Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa that NBI personnel “wrestled” him.

"Hindi totoo yung sinabi niya doon sa floor na tinackle siya, nag-wrestling sila, walang ganoon,” Matibag said

The Director also mentioned that they sent two female agents to serve the warrant of arrest to the Senator.

"Actually ang purpose namin doon babae, kasi we were expecting na iseserve na yung warrant sa kaniya. He will be professionally nod from the law enforcement. He will understand. Usap. Basa,” according to NBI Director

Matibag added that once a senator realized that the warrant would serve, Dela Rosa allegedly pushed the agents.

“Nung nalaman niya na ise-serve sa kaniya, sinasabi ng NBI, tinackle na niya, tinulak na niya yung dalawang agent kaya siya nakatakbo. When I check the CCTV, ang mga nakasunod sa kaniya mga staff niya may dalang maleta,” he said
