Iginiit ni National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag na hindi sinadyang itapat sa naging word war nila ni Senator Alan Peter Cayetano ang imbestigasyon sa umano'y 11 ghost flood control projects sa Taguig City.

Makikipag-ugnayan din ang NBI sa Office of the Ombudsman kaugnay ng imbestigasyon kay Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon na iniuugnay sa usapin ng 2019 SEA Games.
