The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued a show-cause order (SCO) against the viral rider who performed a stunt, running a motorcycle on one wheel, on a public road.

According to the LTO, this is dangerous, noting that in a viral video, the rider is wearing only slippers and driving without astandard protective helmet; the motorcycle has no side mirrors. The office emphasized that this behavior can be considered a violation of the existing laws and regulations regarding safety on roads.

Aside from the SCO, the LTO has implemented a temporary measure, placing a motorcycle under alarm status, while a rider’s license is suspended for 90 days.
