Gunshots were heard inside the Senate building.

Senator Imee Marcos, in her Facebook post, shared that she and her colleagues were huddling together in a small, dark room while the gunshots were ongoing.

She also mentioned that her security personnel instructed her to wear a security vest for her protection. 

"Nagsisiksikan kami isang maliit at madilim na sulok dito sa kwarto ng SB habang nagpuputukan pa rin sa gilid at nagtutulakan pagkat pilit pumapasok ‘yung mga NBI at ang kanilang mga kasamahan na may mahahabang baril," she said

The Senator added that this is not the proper way to get Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.

"Hindi tama itong nangyayari kung nais nilang dakipin si Senator Bato," she said
