The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) shuts down the unlicensed care facility found in Brgy. Landayan, San Pedro, Laguna, on January 29, 2026.

The DSWD Standards Bureau coordinated with the City Social Welfare and Development Office and DSWD Field Office - CALABARZON to locate the facility. 

There are 12 individuals recovered from the facility, and 2 of them were minors. They undewent to medical assessment before they transferred to the DSWD.
