The Schools Division of Davao City apologizes to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. regarding the inappropriate behavior of four students during his visit on July 28, 2026.
The agency assures the public that it does not tolerate such behavior and emphasized that the students’ actions do not reflect the image of its schools.
“We deeply regret the incident and assure the public that such conduct is not tolerated and does not reflect the values of respect, discipline, and responsibility that our schools uphold,” they said
The agency also stated that four students involved and their parents were invited to a mandatory conference to ensure appropriate interventions are provided following the incident.
“Four (4) learners were identified, and their parents or guardians were invited to a mandatory conference to ensure due process and the implementation of appropriate interventions,” according to the issued statement of DepEd Davao City
They also assured that under DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 and existing school policies, the involved students will undergo appropriate disciplinary measures, guidance and counseling, and values formation interventions.
