MANILA—The NHA Home Masters displayed remarkable grit to overcome the DENR Lawin Spikers in a thrilling four-set battle during yesterday’s action-packed UVL encounter. 

In a match filled with intense rallies and powerful plays, NHA ultimately secured victory with a final score of 3-1, showcasing their determination and tactical superiority.

The NHA Home Masters made a sensational start, clinching the first two sets 25-10 and 25-16, respectively, leaving DENR scrambling for answers. 

However, the Lawin Spikers refused to back down, showing immense resolve to claw their way back in the third set, which they won in a dramatic fashion, 25-18. 

The fourth set was a head-to-head contest, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats, but NHA Home Masters ultimately pulled through with a crucial 25-7 win to seal the match.

Leading the charge for the NHA Home Masters was the spectacular Lisa Amiano, who deservingly earned the "Best Player of the Game" accolade. 

Amiano was a force to be reckoned with, racking up an impressive 16 points, including 13 unstoppable attacks and 3 brilliant aces. 

Her exceptional performance, combined with the team’s collective effort, was pivotal in securing this hard-fought victory against a formidable opponent, setting the stage for more exhilarating matches to come.
