Reservists from the 124th Philippine Air Force Affiliated Reserve Unit (PAF ARU) – Eaglecom, in partnership with the 5th Air Reserve Center (ARCen), successfully delivered real-time aerial monitoring and communications support during Exercise SANAY BAGWIS 03-2026, held in Ubay, Bohol, from October 8 to 13, 2026.

Operating under its 2nd Squadron, the Eaglecom team demonstrated advanced unmanned aerial capabilities, establishing live video streaming feeds and back-up radio networks directly into command posts.

The tactical support furnished field commanders with actionable intelligence and heightened situational awareness, streamlining decision-making and dynamic mission coordination throughout the multi-day joint exercises.

The execution highlighted the effective integration of civilian-reserve technical expertise into active-duty military operations. By leveraging specialized aerial assets and redundant emergency communication infrastructure, the unit reaffirmed how affiliated reserve forces seamlessly scale up operational reach during tactical drills and real-world contingencies.

Officers emphasized that the exercise underscores the 124th PAF ARU’s commitment to modernizing the nation's air defense posture through technological innovation and joint force teamwork.

Through continued participation in major defense exercises, the unit solidifies its role as an indispensable partner in national defense and mission readiness.
