Sinagot ng Malacañang ang patutsada ni Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte na umano'y mas binibigyang-prayoridad ng administrasyon ang impeachment laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte kaysa sa imbestigasyon sa mga anomalya sa flood control projects.

Idinepensa ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. ang deployment ng mga pulis para sa seguridad sa ikalimang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Ayon kay Nartatez, hindi "overkill" ang ipinakalat na mga tauhan, taliwas sa pahayag ni Bayan Secretary General Renato Reyes.

Naka-posisyon na ang mga tauhan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa Commonwealth Avenue ilang oras bago ang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. bilang paghahanda sa inaasahang malaking rally at upang tiyaking mapanatili ang kaayusan at seguridad sa paligid ng Batasan Complex.
